ABOUT

My name is Milly Miljkovic. I'm an animation filmmaker and illustrator from the south of Switzerland.
During my studies at the Art School of Lugano (CSIA) I became passionate about geometric shapes and colors. That's why I chose to study architecture at Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio and then animation and illustration at Scuola Internazionale di Comics and Event Horizon - School of digital art in Turin.

Once finished the University education, I decided to combine both disciplines and create my own imaginary world. I began my career as a freelance animator & illustrator and I started collaborating with: 

I teach animation and illustration at CSIA(Centro Scolastico per le industrie artistiche), Production and Set Design at CISA (Conservatorio Internazionale di Scienze Audiovisive) and Creative Illustration at IFC (Istituto per la formazione continua).

I'm coordinator of La Notte del cortometraggio Ticino and of Collettivo Illustrazione Ticino. 

This year, as a jury and mentor, I'm mentoring two projects for the Bolo Klub program: www.boloklub.ch
